Savouring the silence
Candlelit dinner a deux
A relaxing massage or

Strolling beside an envigorating river or
Skipping through the heather on the high moors
Now,
Allocate an appropriate period of time for the recipe to have maximum benefit and BOOK NOW before half term comes around ! |

| At Holwell we have had an incredibly busy Summer with all cottages full to bursting, but everyone so enjoying their holidays that many have already re-booked. The most common observation was that there was just so much to do and not enough time to do it ! |
We have now got our first availability starting again early September and with the two new cottages Chinkwell and Saddle Tor nearing now completion we are also taking bookings for later on this Autumn for them too.

The scenery on Dartmoor is approaching arguably it’s most stunning with all the heather and rowan.
The forecasters are now predicting wonderful weather for September, so come and share an Indian Summer with us; after all, I think we deserve it ! |
Talking of Autumn, this is the traditional time for the “Dartmoor Pony Drift” when all the wild ponies of the moor are herded off and sorted out. Between the 5th and 8th of November we will be offering a unique experience from Holwell to experience first hand how to tame and train the wild ponies of Dartmoor. A three night package inclusive of accommodation in one of the cottages for 2 sharing a double or twin room, half board and the “hands on” training with renownded horsewoman Vanessa Bee of Positive Horsemanship, is £320 per person.
